Photo View: (12-418) EARLY CASED NAVAL COMPANY LINE THROWING GUN BASED ON A WINCHESTER MODEL 37 SMOOTH BORE 45-70 CALIBER
Marked on the barrel is "Line Gun .45-70 Blank Only". Fitted in a wood case marked "BRIDGER SHOULDER LINE GUN NAVAL CO BOYLES TOWN PENNSYLVANIA". Accompanying this unique item are half a dozen brass projectiles that were shot out of the barrel. Very interesting piece in VG condition with 60-70% blue; scattered flaking apparently due to salty sea weather. Original box is in very near excellent condition-just a few minor chips and dings. A very unique and rarely encountered item.
A $ 1,250
