Photo View: (12-620) VERY UNIQUE AND INTERESTING CAST IRON CEREMONIAL OR PARADE CANNON

Complete with detachable ammo caisson. Fluted muzzle, with approx 1-1/8" bore, 15 inch tapered cast iron barrel. The cannon wheels stand approx 13" high and 1-1/4" in width. On the ammo bucket the wheels are approx 10" high and 1-1/4" in width. Dark aged patina brass hubs on all wheels. It is pulled with a serpentine type tongue with a wooden handle at the end. Overall length of the outfit is about 6-1/2 feet. Very well done. Overall in very nice condition with a plum brown-ish patina coloration with very minor pitting. The wooden ammo bucket retains most of the old dark aged green paint. Probably made about 1850's or 60's. Very unique item, quite possibly one of a kind.
