Photo View: (12-606) CASED SET OF SIX FACTORY ENGRAVED COLT SINGLE ACTIONS

Very interesting set of guns: they were ordered in 1978 according to the provenance. It took 41/2 years before Colt finally delivered the guns. They're cased together in a French style recessed case and are all engraved in factory style 'D'. Various calibers; four of them are 7-1/2" bbls, 1 is 5-1/2" and 1 is 4-3/4". All guns are blued and case hardened with the exception of one of the 7-1/2's which has full nickel finish and a non-fluted cylinder in 45 Colt. All guns have ivory grips with the custom shop logo inlaid in the grip. Absolutely new cond; complete with orig factory boxes which are in new, unused cond as is the display case. Six Factory Letters documenting the details of each gun included. Very unusual set. Even more unusual is the request that Colt had as to what they would and wouldn't do on the guns. As new inside and out; probably the only set of its kind in existence.
