Photo View: (12-463) MARLIN MODEL 1893 DELUXE ENGRAVED RIFLE IN CALIBER 38-55

Fine bore, orig full octagon bbl, full length magazine tube, takedown frame, orig sights include a Beaches combination front and the Marlin rear receiver sight which is the one mounted on top of the rec and is absolutely correct for this vintage of gun. Orig deluxe fancy wood is in exc cond having been slightly cleaned, possibly recheckered and looks fine; rifle style buttplate. Overall metal is in VG+ cond with 60-70% blue on the bbl and mag, receiver retains probably 30-40% thinning case colors which are turning nickelly in areas. Engraved in factory pattern #1 I believe. Nice, clean and all original except where mentioned.
