Photo View: (12-438) EXTREMELY EARLY 1881 MARLIN RIFLE IN CALIBER 45 GOVERNMENT

Serial number 113 with early rebated frame. Standard configuration rifle with oct bbl, full length mag tube, orig sights including blade front and the long rear sight. This rifle is in quite good cond with the bbl finish being a blue brown which is very typical on these 1881's, mag tube is mostly a lighter to medium brown, receiver has turned to a lighter brown patina and was possibly lightly cleaned years ago. Extra figure wood is in VG cond, may have had a coat of oil or varnish put on a long time ago, nice fitting with the typical crack in the bottom of the forearm which was been repaired many years ago. Fine condition.
