This gun was originally owned by Ad Topperwein who had given it to Ernie Lind. Well documented; signed, notarized statements where Mrs. Ernie Lind sold the gun to Bob Johnson who in turn sold it to well known Winchester dealer Don Groves. No doubt that this gun is authentic and remains in very nice cond with literally 95% bright shiny orig blue with just a little flaking on the bottom of the receiver, exc bore, orig sights, orig walnut stocks retain most all the orig varnish; complete with carbine style buttplate. Nice, sharp little gun. Correct saddlering. Would make an excellent enhancement to any Winchester collection.
