Photo View: (12-216) UTAH OFFICE OF INDIAN AFFAIRS WINCHESTER 1873 RIFLE IN 32-20

Inlaid in the side of the stock is a raised German silver type plaque with brass tacks around it stating: 'Utah Offlce of Indian Affairs'. The gun looks to be quite authentic in every way; looks to have been used every day, pretty much pitted, rounded corners to the oct bbl, action functions but that's about it. Orig sights, wood shows a fair amount of usage but still basically sound with some loss from dings, etc. Heavy dark brown patina overall to the metal. Quite colorful and would make a great wall decorator; I've got every reason to believe that this definitely was used by Indians.
