Half round, half oct, button mag. This 1886 was originally case colored with some case colors still remaining especially on the left hand side under the Lyman 21 sight. Pistol grip stock is uncheckered and is full fitting with no losses or cracks; crescent rifle butt. Bbl is mostly a gray brown patina, standard front sight and blank in rear slot, somewhat rough bore, action is very nice, some case colors remain on hammer & lever. Good old gun.
