75% thinning bbl blue, nice sharp edges on octagons, abundant blue on the full length magazine tube, left side receiver retains 70% thinning blue, right side 60%; some light freckling and a couple of spots of light pin prick storage pitting. Orig varnish on the very nice fitting shotgun buttstock, forearm also VG+, bright shiny bore on this 45-70. Good looking, scarce, long bbl’d 1886!
