Photo View: (13-323) EARLY ROUND HEEL HENRY RIFLE
Early feature gun with the receiver dovetail which has a brass blank in it; probably done 120 years ago? Looks good. Receiver has a rich dark attractive patina to it, bbl is a pleasing dark brown antique patina. Pretty darn good bore in this Henry too! Nice stock that is VG fitting with minimal shrinkage. This rifle equipped with sling swivels and some old boy out on the frontier did have a sling on it as the stock exhibits a real neat wear pattern. Chip out of stock on bottom right side, orig wood finish, rear sight is the sometimes encountered simple flat style dovetail sight. A majestic, beautiful piece of American history!
