Checkered stock, set trigger, 1/2 octagon, deluxe wood, case hardened frame. Buttstock has VG fitting wood with usage marks but no cracks or loss of wood; forearm is also good fitting with no cracks but a small loss of wood at forearm cap on left side, frame case colors have aged gracefully and are about gone. Bbl has likewise turned but still has blue in protected areas. Unbelievable bore! A few rub/grip marks on otherwise clean smooth bbl metal. This serial range, 25,XXX, is noted for some of the finest 1873's ever built. Many extra features on this gun.
