45-70 Caliber. This is the full length rifle/musket with 32-1/2" bbl and detachable magazine. U.S.N. and anchor markings, also H.H.E. inspector markings, 52K serial range. Receiver is mostly a brown patina with blue in protected areas, bbl is also a blue brown. Bolt has quite a bit of blue, wood is in VG cond with no losses or apparent cracks. It, of course, has an abundant supply of nicks, scratches, etc. An old military rack # painted on stock. Also on the rifle is an orig early single hook military sling and cleaning rod. Mag is VG+. This is a very nice example.
