Photo View: (11-676) STEVENS SURE SHOT

Very rare markings on this Stevens: Engraved on bbl is 'W.R.A. Co. 2-2-1901' which indicates it was sent to Winchester for ammo testing. Bbl has about 95% blue with a VG bore. Almost all nickel remains on frame with only slight wear on sharp edges. Buttstock is overall VG but has had a wrist repair which could have been done better-looks of the period; would be an easy fix if desired. Very interesting letter comes with this 22 Caliber. Probably one of the rarest Stevens rifles.
