Generally fine overall with smooth clean metal, sharp corners, barrel is an even dark plum blue coloration, magazine is a thin plum gray patina, receiver retains perhaps 75% shiny dark plum blue with the balance turned a plummish. Considerable case colors visible on hammer and lever, hunters front sight, filler blank rear, and Lyman tang sight; rifle buttplate. Fine walnut with a VG repair to the rear forearm loading port area. Great looking Burgess.
