30” full octagon barrel, full length magazine tube, very near fine bore; strong sharp rifling with minimal pitting. Generally VG wood with most original varnish, a 2” long repaired forearm crack at the front is solid; special order rifle style buttstock special ordered with a 14” pull as per Factory Letter. Metal is smooth and clean, barrel and magazine retain approximately 75% darkening blue, receiver has 40% darkening blue, the balance is a plum blue patina; traces of case colors on hammer and lever. Good lookin’ 73.
