Photo View: (13-560) CASED PAIR OF SPECTACULAR W.C. SCOTT AND SON DOUBLE BARREL SIDE LOCK SHOTGUNS IN 12 GAUGE

Guns have been rebarreled by Holland & Holland and are so marked on the top of the 28” barrels, also marked ‘Modified and Improved Cylinder Choking’. Full side lock guns with 5 or 6 different vignettes; most of the engraving is very delicately done with the top of the frame done in chiseled relief style. Wood is in excellent condition with 15-1/2” pull. Both guns are in excellent condition; the frames and sideplates are generally a light grayish coloration with traces of case color in the protected areas, no pitting or signs of abuse. Case is an original W.C. Scott with the new Holland & Holland label printed at the time that the barrels were done and the guns were reproofed. Nice outfit! Must be seen to be appreciated.
