Photo View: (10-484) COLT MEDIUM FRAME MUSKET IN 44-40

Correct full round 27" barrel with lug for a bayonet, original sights, fine bore. Original carbine musket style stock is in VG condition with a considerable amount of the usual minor small dents that muskets have from dings in the rack. Overall metal is smooth, clean and has turned a plum brown patina coloration with traces of blue in the protected areas. All original; complete with Factory Letter of Authenticity. Only a couple dozen of these muskets have shown up-most of them were shipped out of the country and have not returned. Scarce gun to find in any condition. This one is better than most.
