At the period of use, it was fitted with a 28" octagon extra heavy bull barrel which measures almost 1-1/2" at the muzzle and weighs 17-1/2 lbs. Fine bore, period front and of the period folding tang back sights, double set triggers. Original cheekpiece checkered deluxe buttstock is VG with an excellent old repaired crack at the wrist; Swiss style buttplate. Refinished overall a long time ago and has 90% dull blue turning a brown patina coloration.
