Overall gun is in fine condition. The wood retains virtually all of the original oil finish, nicely checkered on the forearm and the wrist area; correct wooden half pistol grip that these are usually encountered with. Forend cap and ram rod tip are both nickel plated and retain most all of the nickel. Buttplate, upper tang, sideplate, breech bolt, hammer, frame and retaining band are all very nicely and elaborately engraved. Overall gun is guaranteed all orig and in extraordinary condition with virtually all the original blue on the barrel and vivid case colors on the lock, hammer and breech bolt. Very scarce little gun-only 250 of these were manufactured and this one is probably in better condition than most of them by far. Fine gun.
