With very unusual carbine buttplate-generally pistol grips have shotgun butts. Original 20" carbine length barrel, full length magazine, VG bore, replacement of the period Marbles rear carbine sight. Original walnut stocks are in excellent condition with most original varnish; metal is excellent as well with 90% original thinning barrel and magazine blue; 25% original receiver blue-the balance turned a smooth plum bluish brown coloration. All original with the exception of two neatly filled tap holes in the side of the receiver. Scarce.
