Orig carbine sights, VG+ bore that probably would benefit from a good cleaning, orig carbine style wood is in VG+ cond with correct carbine style buttplate. Overall metal is VG with 75% orig bbl and mag tube blue toning slightly, receiver retains probably 25% thinning case colors; somewhat vivid in the protected areas-the balance turning a nickelly coloration. (EL-7310) HALF OCTAGON, HALF ROUND SHORT MAG 1886 RIFLE
90%+ bbl finish which is mostly blue, case colored frame has done the normal progressing to an antique gray color; some colors remain on lever and protected areas. Rifle butt on this lightly freshened up stock. Man-sized 45-90 caliber. Bore is good to VG with nice rifling and no pitting; there is scattered roughness however. Nice standard configuration carbine with 90%+ thinning bbl and mag tube blue and approximately 60% frame blue, VG cond. Exc fitting wood with no cracks or losses, bright bore with good riflings, rock solid action, old neatly braided leather wrap on saddlering. (10-661) CUSTOM ENGRAVED WINCHESTER 1886 TAKE-DOWN LIGHTWEIGHT RIFLE
This gun is done in a pattern #1 style of Winchester engraving featuring three gold inlaid Elk in an oval on one side of the receiver, a big horn sheep and a mountain goat on the other side and a moose on the bottom. Overall gun beautifully done and looks great; a true artist did the engraving as well as the stock carving which is much reminiscent of Winchester's style #1 carved stocks. Receiver has been case hardened and retains all the hardening; bbl and mag retain all of the refinished blue. Caliber 33. This gun appears to have been refinished some time ago with a fair amount of case colors remaining on the receiver, bbl has been reblued and retains all of the re-blue. Pistol grip checkered walnut stocks are in exc cond with the correct shotgun style buttplate. Orig sights include a folding tang rear and a Lyman hunters front. Good looking gun. e

Caliber 50 Express. This gun has a 22" full round bbl, full length magazine tube-I believe the bbl's been shortened to the 22" length-it appears to be the correct bbl length on the muzzle end but I do think it's been shortened. Replacement buckhorn rear sight, orig blade front sight, bright shiny bore with just a few light pits; sharp rifling. Orig wood in VG cond with rifle style buttplate. Not a bad old gun, should make a good shooter with as sharp a bore as it has. e

Receiver retains 40% special order nickel trim, bbl and mag are mostly a plummish brown coloration with traces of blue in the protected area. Scarce little gun. Overall metal has been cleaned a long time ago and is a light gun metal grayish coloration with sharp markings. Very nicely & quite elaborately engraved with a game scene of a pair of moose in a large oval on one side; a bear in an oval on the other. The engraving is a somewhat untypical Grade 4 which correlates with the 156,XXX serial number range-it's a very lightweight rifle but guaranteed absolutely 100% correct. Overall gun is in fine cond with a checkered pistol grip fancy burl walnut stock which is 11/4" longer than standard. 24" extra lightweight bbl, fine bore, orig sights. Overall metal retains 95% orig blue starting to thin on the bottom and has a slight tone of brown appearing here & there. Nice, clean, all orig.
