(EL-R1040) REMINGTON BABY ROLLING BLOCK CARBINE

With a special order 18” round bbl. The gun features a saddlering and carbine style buttstocks; all of which are in VG cond. Overall gun is very nice with 90% thinning orig blue on the bbl, receiver retains about 30-40% thinning case colors, orig sights. Chambered for 44 Rimfire; this is one of two known guns made by Remington that are chambered in this cartridge-the other one belongs to Roy Marcot. Scarce little gun. e

45-70 Caliber. U.S.N. and anchor marking, W.W.K. inspector marks. 32-1/2" bbl is nice and bright but does have some light pitting. Receiver is a silver gray, bbl is turning blue brown. Old replacement blade front sight, good wood-looks like it has been cleaned, not much finish remaining. Detachable mag is VG, has cleaning rod. Pretty fair Remington Lee. e

(EL-R1020) REMINGTON LEE BOLT ACTION RIFLE

45-70 Caliber. This is the full length rifle/musket with 32-1/2" bbl and detachable magazine. U.S.N. and anchor markings, also H.H.E. inspector markings, 52K serial range. Receiver is mostly a brown patina with blue in protected areas, bbl is also a blue brown. Bolt has quite a bit of blue, wood is in VG cond with no losses or apparent cracks. It, of course, has an abundant supply of nicks, scratches, etc. An old military rack # painted on stock. Also on the rifle is an orig early single hook military sling and cleaning rod. Mag is VG+. This is a very nice example. e

(EL-R1029) RARE REMINGTON ROLLING BLOCK SMOKELESS POWDER MILITARY CARBINE IN 7MM MAUSER

20-1/2” round bbl. This gun is apparently a prototype of the Model 1901 Small Bore Military Carbine. Receiver retains about 90% of the orig case hardening which is starting to thin somewhat, bbl is in the white-never been blued, walnut stocks. Overall gun is in fine cond with very few signs of usage on the stocks, correct sling swivels, no SN or caliber markings are visible. This gun came from Edwin Pugsley of the Winchester Gun Museum; it was in his possession for a number of years. Fine, interesting little gun. e

With a 32" bull bbl measuring 1-1/4" at the muzzle. Orig wood is in generally VG cond showing a fair amount of wear but no splits or cracks. Orig sights include globe front, no provisions for a rear and a folding tang. Exc bore, overall metal is a gun metal gray coloration with some signs of cleaning on the bbl; receiver mostly a gun metal silver gray, traces of case colors. Complete with special order double set triggers. Should make a fine shooter weighing in at over 17 lbs. e

35 Caliber. Overall gun has seen some usage but still in generally pretty good cond with 90% bright blue remaining, slightly toning. (EL-R223) REMINGTON HEPBURN HEAVY BBL RIFLE

Caliber 45-70. Overall gun looks great; appears to have been used out in the frontier: it's got a rawhide leather strap around the back of the buttstock to be used as a sling and a mark on the bbl where another rawhide strap had been attached. Overall metal is an aged plum brown coloration and has seen a lot of use with a fair amount of neglect but appears to be very much untouched; complete with double set triggers. No doubt this gun has seen alot of frontier use by buffalo hunters and such. Wood has been cleaned but is sound and solid with possibly an old age crack at the wrist. Very colorful, interesting, Western gun. e

In very scarce Caliber 32 Smooth Bore. Orig sights, exc bore, orig wood has just minor handling mars but most orig varnish; steel shotgun style buttplate. Bbl retains probably 75% blue starting to tone a little bit; receiver has probably 50-60% case colors turning a mottled color but still good. Clean sharp all orig little gun. e

8” octagon barrel, bright shiny bore-near mint, serial number 54,XXX, correct ‘pinched iron’ front sight. The barrel carries the 1858 patent date and ‘New Model’, the ‘Beals’ patent cylinder pin is present. Overall gun has seen very little use, however, the front half of the gun has experienced some corrosion and was lightly cleaned long ago; barrel has traces of blue, loading lever 40$ blue, cylinder 50% blue, left side frame 75% blue, right side 25%. Balance of metal is a plum gray blue patina coloration. There is some very light pin-prick pitting on the barrel, hammer case colors are darkening, 30% silver on triggerguard, near excellent walnut grips with virtually all original varnish remaining, no cartouche-never had one. #’s match. e

7-9/16” barrel, excellent overall condition, minty bore with just a couple pits. 44,XXX serial number with a conversion number. Outstanding condition retaining 97% shiny barrel and lever blue, 80%+ shiny cylinder and frame blue, the balance flaked to a plum patina coloration, almost all vivid case colors remain on hammer, 95% nickel on triggerguard. Virtually all lacquer remains on the walnut grips, engraving is the conservative style on the frame only; crisp and sharp. Wonderful example. e
