Caliber 303. Orig 26" round tapered bbl, VG shootable bore, orig sights include the correct buckhorn rear and folding tang receiver sights. Pistol grip checkered walnut stock has a considerable amount of orig varnish but the usual dings and mars from hunting use. Overall metal appears to have an old refinish and retains about 90% thinning blue; Leader grade engraved gun. Sharp little gun with good eye appeal. All orig except where mentioned. e

This is the same rifle your cheap uncle brought to deer camp when you were a kid. Uncle Hank wouldn't shell out the extra bucks for a Winchester or Remington. This rifle has a nice bore and petty good bbl blue. Nice wood, Redfield rear bbl sight, Weaver side scope mount and Bushnell 3-9 scope. Uncle Hank wasn't so dumb-these were a good little rifle and are somewhat sought after today. e

22 LR. Metal is mostly a gray brown coloration, VG bore. Some dumb-ass cracked the stock when he attempted to put in a front swivel stud; repair was made with three dowels running though the stock-a somewhat good solid repair job. Nice orig clip. e

(EL-S42) INTERESTING SAVAGE FOX DELUXE ENGRAVED .410 DOUBLE BBL MODEL B SHOTGUN

This gun was specially made in 1962 for William J. O”Conner who was the Vice-President of Savage Arms. He gave it to his wife on their anniversary. One-of-a-kind special engraving by Bielin with special satin chrome plating. Pains were also taken to fit and re-fit the bbl and the stocks; complete with vent rib, single trigger and auto ejectors. Engraving covers the frame and includes an Eagle on underside. Initials on triggerguard, engraving extends onto bbls as well, deluxe walnut stocks are both carved and checkered. Ivory pistol grip buttplates are beautifully carved as well, Indian chief in oval on buttplate, 3" chambers, 26" bbls. Very near as new cond; complete with photo of William & Katherine O'Conner. Factory Letter, etc. e

Caliber 30-30. Stamped on the stock is 'U.P.C. & Co.' A document from the Union Pacific Railway where they sold this gun and about 30-40 other misc guns by serial number accompanies this gun. Excellent condition overall with 98% original blue and vivid case colors on the hammer & lever.
