Fine bore, orig sights, orig wood has been cleaned and a light coat of varnish has been added but it doesn’t show signs of having been sanded. Overall metal is mostly a plum brown patina coloration with sharp corners, good markings, orig saddlering. Shows some usage but is still a nice, clean little gun. e

Orig sights include a folding ladder carbine style sight. Orig pistol grip semi-deluxe wood is in exc cond with very rare carbine style buttplate which is rarely encountered on the carbines; they usually put on a rifle butt when they special order the wood. Factory records indicate that it was ordered as a smooth bore with a button mag in carbine style wood. Very unusual little gun, apparently ordered by a trick shot for exhibition shooting. The gun is generally in very nice condition with walnut stocks retaining a fair amount of orig varnish, orig sights, VG bore with a few very minor pits, correct saddlering. Overall metal is VG with traces of orig blue in the protected area, the balance turned a plum brownish coloration. Clean, sharp, very nice little gun; complete with Factory Letter of Authenticity. Barrel marked with the figure of a bee and 'The Stinger' which were the markings of the Perry Brothers of Brisbane. These stampings were applied at the factory. Original 20" barrel and special order 1/2 length magazine tube, VG bore with scattered pitting. Original sights include a 3-leaf platinum lined rear (with a middle leaf broken). Original walnut is generally VG a few nicks and dings but is solid. Overall metal is VG, smooth and clean with excellent markings, nice action and original saddlering.
