Winchester 1894 Carbines
(EL-8803) WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 16" TRAPPER
Caliber 30 WCF. This trapper has some nice bbl blue, light pin prick pittingin areas on bbl and mag tube. Receiver has nice clean smooth metal, most bluing is gone from loading gate side, ample bluing in perhaps the 40-50% range on the saddlering side. Wood is in VG cond as is the bore. This is an orig 16" trapper that has not been messed with through the years and is way above average in condition. e

Winchester 1894 Carbines
(EL-8617) WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 SRC IN 30 WCF
This is a standard configuration gun with a Marbles flip up rear sight, decent blue on the bbl, blue brown receiver with flaking and one extra hole drilled in the upper tang for a tang sight which is not present. Wood has been lightly sanded and is undersized especially at the bottom tang, otherwise it looks good, buttplate fits well. Nice, solid buttstock; forearm is in in VG cond with no cracks or losses. No pitting in bore persay, but does show the roughness you see in these old firearms, in about fair cond and could clean up to be good. This 1910 gun does have the saddlering. e

Winchester 1894 Carbines
(EL-8616) WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 SRC
This was a working man's gun as it does display quite a bit of use: receiver is plummed out to mostly a brownish, bbl still has quite a bit of blue but is thinning in places and shows a little wear. Bore is rough but may clean up to be fair to good. A couple of very old repairs done to the wrist area; a couple of brass screws are kind of holding the area together right around the wrist. Forearm is in good cond; has the typical crack or two in front of the forearm band. A lot of Western flair in this 94. ~~> VIEW PHOTO <~~ e

(13-252) VERY SCARCE 94 SADDLERING CARBINE COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS A BELGIAN CONGO MODEL IN 30 WCF
These guns are seldom found in very good condition-this one is about average. Original gumwood stock is sound and solid with a light coat of varnish added. Overall gun is in generally VG condition with no pits; mostly a plum brown coloration; traces original blue, VG bore. Very interestingly the rear ladder sight is marked in meters and the gun features side mount sling swivels running underneath the side of the forearm band and the side of the stock. Very scarce-I've only seen a half dozen of these. ~~> VIEW PHOTO <~~ e

Very early 23,XXX range serial number. Gun has been refinished a long time ago and retains most of the refinish; starting to show some wear and turning a plummish coloration. Not a bad gun for an early antique serial number. e

(8267-12-228) WINCHESTER MODEL 94 SRC
This gun was originally owned by Ad Topperwein who had given it to Ernie Lind. Well documented; signed, notarized statements where Mrs. Ernie Lind sold the gun to Bob Johnson who in turn sold it to well known Winchester dealer Don Groves. No doubt that this gun is authentic and remains in very nice cond with literally 95% bright shiny orig blue with just a little flaking on the bottom of the receiver, exc bore, orig sights, orig walnut stocks retain most all the orig varnish; complete with carbine style buttplate. Nice, sharp little gun. Correct saddlering. Would make an excellent enhancement to any Winchester collection. ~~> VIEW PHOTO <~~ e

(8330-12-163) VERY SCARCE MODEL 1894 WINCHESTER SRC IN 38-55
Relatively early gun in the 220,XXX serial range. Most finish is gone, what remains is a gray brown patina on bbl, mag tube and receiver. Wood is in relatively good shape with normal usage marks and a chip out of the upper corner, has had a coat of varnish added at one time or another. Nice action, fair bore. A saddlering in 38-55 is very hard to come by. This one does have a few warts but is still a good solid gun. e
