Cal 25-20. Original sights. Excellent bore. Walnut stocks in excellent condition with very few minor blemishes. Complete with carbine style buttplate. I believe the receiver has been re finished. BBl and mag tube I don't think are. They retain about 95% original blue. The receiver retains 95% of an excellent re finish with one area by the serial number with some loss of blue and some pitting. Hard to tell it is redone if it is. Correct carbine sights and original saddle ring.

Cal 32-20. Original sights. Full length mag tube. Good bore. Original forearm in VG condition. Buttstock has been sanded some and is undersized around the wrist. Complete with carbine style buttplate. Overall metal is mostly a gunmetal grey/brown patina with some minor pitting on the receiver. Correct saddle ring. All original except where noted.

92 SADDLE RING CARBINE

Cal 38-40. Early antique serial number range. Flip up carbine rear sight. Near excellent bore. Overall gun has seen a lot of use and probably was carried every day. Numerous holes where there is tacks stuffed in on both sides of the forearm as well areas on the stock. On the back part of the stock are the numbers "909" placed perhaps by a blacksmith with metal and tacks. Done 100+ years ago and the wood has worn down around them considerably. Interesting gun. It has a replacement saddle ring and loss to the forearm from saddle wear next to the frame.

Cal 32-20. Original folding carbine ladder rear sight and correct front sight. Very nice bore with sharp rifling. Original wood has been slightly cleaned. Not undersized or refinished. Complete with carbine style buttplate. Overall metal is very nice with complete refinish having been done quite some time ago. Nice sharp corners and good markings. Comes complete with original saddle ring and has two holes tapped in the receiver for a more recent style receiver sight. Very nice gun!

Cal 38-40. Good sharp bore with some minor pitting but should be a good shooter. Original wood shows some mars and dings from hunting use but no splits or cracks. Looks good and complete with correct carbine style buttplate. Original sights. Original saddle ring. Bbl and mag retain about 25-30% nice original blue. Receiver is mostly flaked or turned brown. No pitting or signs of abuse. A Clean looking carbine.

Cal 44-40. VG shootable bore. Would benefit from a good cleaning. Correct post front sight and King semi-buckhorn rear sight. Original wood has been refinished and is slightly undersized at the wrist. No splits or cracks. Correct carbine style buttplate. Original saddle ring. Overall gun has been completely Parkerized and retains all that finish. Should make a good Cowboy Action gun.

Complete with carbine style buttplate. Overall metal has turned a plum coloration with good traces of blue on both bbl and receiver. Crisp tight action. Should make a good shooter. Cal 32-20. Special order button mag. Good shootable bore. Original sights include a folding ladder 1873 marked sight. Original wood is in VG condition with a light coat of oil added. Not re-finished. Sound and solid with no cracks. Overall metal is a plum/brown patina with a fair amount of blue showing. Good markings. Clean little gun complete with original saddle ring.

Wood stocks are in VG+ condition with only a few light mars. Better than those usually encountered. Bbl and frame is mostly a plum/brown coloration with good markings. Nice functioning action. Correct saddle ring. A fine specimen of an early American made lever action carbine.

Cal 32-20. Full oct bbl and button mag. Original wood shows a fair amount of use. It has some oil added and has turned quite dark but is basically sound and solid with a rifle style buttplate. Shootable bore. Original sights. Overall metal shows traces of original finish with the balance turning a heavy brown patina. Some replacement screws. Correct saddle ring.

It has a replacement 357 cal mag bbl. Excellent bore. Ramp front sight. Receiver has a Redfield Lyman sight. Receiver is very tastefully engraved in European style tight scrolls and floral motifs. Beautifully done. Fancy wood is very nicely checkered in a nonfactory pattern but tastefully done. Complete with shotgun style buttplate. Gun retains virtually all refinish that was applied at the time of engraving. Complete with a gold trigger. Marked on the lower tang is "D B Marshall Hazelton Pennsylvania 1959." Very attractive little gun. Should make a great shooter.

Slick little carbine with the scarce 2/3 mag. Good looking gun with ample blue on receiver and most blue remaining on bbl. Wood is in VG condition. Nice fitting at both upper and lower tang. Metal nipple top buttplate. Original carbine sights. Smooth action and reasonably good bore. Decent gun!

1892 WINCHESTER SRC IN CALIBER 32

Gun had quite a bit of pitting. Some of it has been buffed off and the gun has a fair reblue job. Some work was done to the bbl length. It now is 19-1/4 It does have a carbine style stock which is shy at both upper and lower tangs and especially at the toe of the buttplate. The forearm is quite nice. This has been re-stained in a sort of deep red and varnished. The gun is actually prettier on the inside with a VG bore. A good gun for the money.

 Button magazine, VG bore, overall metal is a thinning plum blue gray patina coloration with 15-20% blue in protected areas, slightly modified front sight, flip up ladder rear, metal is smooth and clean. VG checkered pistol grip walnut, straight grain, unusual crescent buttplate. Scarce configuration.

WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 SADDLERING CARBINE IN THE DESIRABLE 44 CALIBER

This carbine has a couple of special order features such as a button magazine and a 3-leaf sight of which the center one is broken which is typical of this sight. Gun has a couple of proof marks as well; evidently an export gun. Overall cond is quite good with the receiver mostly a grayish coloration and a brown gray finish on the bbl, all markings are VG, bore is in fair to good cond. Wood is nice fitting and good looking. Nice little carbine.

ATTRACTIVE NICKEL PLATED WINCHESTER MODEL 92 SRC

Caliber 44-40. I have a letter on the gun that does not state a nickel finish. It looks like a turn of the century period re-nickeling job. Bbl markings are a little light. VG shootable bore. Original sights. Original wood has a few minor dings on it and is in fine condition with a carbine style buttplate complete with original saddle ring. Nice looking gun will make a good Western action shooter.

VERY HIGH CONDITION WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 SRC IN 44 WCF

This carbine was initially shipped to Montevideo, Uruguay and has a brass tag in the buttstock so stating this. All bbl blue remains with very light flecking in a couple of spots, mag blue is near perfect, receiver is perhaps 90%+ blue, very nice full fitting wood, crisp clean action, bore could use a cleaning. Very nice 1892 SRC.
