REMINGTON MODEL #11 D GRADE TWO BARREL SET ORIGINALLY OWNED BY ANNIE OAKLEY
Item # MSG653
This gun comes complete with numerous documents from Major JW Hession on Winchester stationary. He states " 30 years ago today he started to work for Remington Arms Co. Annie had just resigned from their payroll and no longer officially connected to the company. She turned in her guns and the sales manager asked if I would like a couple of Annie's guns." They list the guns by serial number and apparently Mr. Hession worked for Remington for several years before going over to Winchester. Serial number of this gun is 65648. There is also some hang tags that are definitely old and list this as Annie Oakley's gun who shot all over the world. Interesting letters complete with the envelopes. Gun is in generally good condition having been re finished a long time ago and retains most of that blue. 13-3/4" LOP to the end of a Pachmayr recoil pad. Cicasian style walnut stocks are generally VG with nice sharp checkering. One bbl is 20" and marked full choke but has opened to cylinder. The other is 28" and is full choke. All matching numbers. The first Volcanic I have had for a number of years.

MASSIVE ANCIENT MATCHLOCK WALL GUN
Item # MR735
It had to have taken quite a few guys to carry this monster on the wall. The gun weighs 36 pounds and is 7 foot 3 inches long. We believe this is Chinese from somewhere about the 16 hundreds.?. The metal appears to be all original and has an ancient pitted patina but overall metal condition is quite good. The bbl is almost 6 feet long and has a slight blunder buss flared muzzle. At the end of the muzzle the bore diameter is just under an inch. There are several brass or copper bbl bands that hold this all together. The stock is evidently a replacement because I don't think the wood after 100's of years would be this good. Probably replaced in the last century. If you have a big wall and need a great conversation piece, this would be it!!
Antique $ 1,375.

LINDSAY YOUNG AMERICA 2 SHOT POCKET PISTOL
Item # MHG510
Marking on the side is " Lindsay Young America Manufactured by J P Lindsay N Y". A very unique, rare and odd pocket pistol. It has a fluted bbl. Cal 41. Serial number 536. A rather strange concept. This is a dual hammer dual percussion with single bbl. The idea was that 2 complete charges were loaded in superposed fashion. (1 on top of the other) The trigger would discharge the hammer for the first load the farthest out. When the trigger was pulled again the second hammer would discharge the final round. It goes to show that just about everything was tried in building firearms! This gun is in exceptional condition with a bbl scene of a lion, eagle and just about everything else under the sun. The brass frame is scroll engraved. All metal is nice, smooth and clean. The grips on this old gun, which would pre date the Civil War, are exceptional. No chips and very nice. If you are looking for something different and cool, this is the gun!

Light traces of case colors on the frame give it a modeled nickel appearance. Original sights and sling swivels. Beautifully cased in a French Moroccan style leather case with a 'Stevens Arms and Tool Company' label on top which also has the '..1st perfect score of 100' statement on it. Very neat and interesting as far as early American target shooting is concerned. Gun is near mint condition; complete with tools fitted inside the case and a box of cartridges. Hard to improve on and definitely a plus to any Stevens collection. A lot of paperwork accompanies this gun.
