C1622 CASED ENGRAVED COLT 1851 NAVY REVOLVER

36 cal. Original Colt case I believe that has been relined. Of the period powder flask. Correct bullet mold and a tin of caps marked "Hicks". The revolver has a presentation inscription on the back "G W Dodd". Gun is in excellent condition. Crisp and sharp with all matching numbers and a VG bore. Original grips in VG condition with most orig varnish. Gun has apparently been refinished some time ago. Looks good! Good strong markings. Has been re nickeled a long time ago and still retains virtually all of that finish. The orig Colt case has been relined and looks good.

C1624  COLT MODEL 1849 POCKET PERCUSSION REVOLVER 5" full oct bbl. 2 line New York address on top of bbl. All matching numbers including the wedge. Mechanics are excellent. Overall metal is excellent with about 25% blue and traces of case colors in protected areas. Most of the cylinder scene is still visible. High gloss lacquered fancy grips retain a considerable amount of original finish but has a fairly large chip out of one corner.

C1625  CASED COLT 49 POCKET PERCUSSION REVOLVER 5" full oct bbl. VG 2-line New York address on top of the bbl. Orig grips show a fair amount of dings and mars but retain a considerable amount of varnish. Overall metal has turned a plum/brown patina with sharp corners and nice markings. Good traces of orig finish in protected areas. All matching numbers including the wedge. Gun is in the 2,600 serial range. Retains most of the cylinder scene engraving as well as about 90% of the silver plating on the trigger guard. Clean orig sharp gun with fine mechanics. Case is period to the gun and has a nice American Eagle flask as well as a brass bullet mold with colt marking. Lining in the case is somewhat worn. Nice rig!

COLT WOODSMAN SPORT MODEL This Colt is a second series and has 4-1/2" bbl with excellent bore. Most all blue remaining. Slight wear on the bbl and grips. Composite material and have the thumb grip groove. Bore is bright and shiny, near perfect. Fine gun. Comes with 2 magazines.

COLT WOODSMAN FIRST SERIES This Woodsman is equipped with 4-1/2" bbl. Serial range 138k. Bbl and frame retain about 80+% blue. Some wear on the forward portion of the frame handle and some wear on the back of the pistol grip. Slide has light wear at high points. Excellent bore. Original two-tone magazine. Very nice collectable/usable Colt.

CASED DELUXE ENGRAVED COLT 1855 PERCUSSION REVOLVER Second model Root with orig 3-1/2" full oct bbl. 28 cal. Gun is in fine condition with quite elaborate engraving by Gustave Young. He was one of the premier engravers of the 19th Century. Orig wood grips show a minimum amount of wear. The case is complete with correct orig flask bearing the eagle on each side. Correct brass bullet mold. Cap tins. Nice brown velor lining shows minimal wear. The rest of the case is VG with only a few light handling mars. Overall gun has 50-60% orig blue starting to thin and plum out in some areas. Crisp sharp good looking early second model Deluxe engraved Colt Root. Beautiful!

ENGRAVED COLT MODEL 1908 VEST POCKET PISTOL This superb specimen comes in original Colt wooden presentation case. The gun itself is possibly unfired. Engraved with nickel finish. The vest pocket was the smallest Colt semi-auto. Cal 25. Gun is equipped with Mother of Pearl grips. Nice little Colt!

HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT COLT DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER This gun belonged to East Chicago Policeman Captain Timothy O'Neil who was credited for killing public enemy number one, John Dillinger. This gun is well documented with a Colt Factory Letter as well as numerous letters from individuals such as J. Edgar Hoover and other public officials commending O'Neil for the taking down of Dillinger. Also,O' Neil's scrapbook with newspaper clippings and career achievements accompanies this revolver. A very collectable item!! The gun is in very good condition with about 75% original finish remaining.

COLT 7 SHOT 22 CALIBER OPEN TOP REVOLVER This gun is elaborately engraved with an interesting pattern. Retains about 75% of the original nickel. The engraving is cut through to the brass frame. Gives it some nice highlights. Original walnut grips retain about 90% varnish. Receiver and bbl retain 75-80 perent original nickel. Nice crisp sharp gun with a slight minor problem with the cylinder rotation. Needs a little adjustment.

49 COLT POCKET PERCUSSION REVOLVER Features a 4" oct bbl. All matching numbers including the wedge and cylinder. Original wood grips show some oil soaking but still retain traces of varnish. Metal shows VG traces of original finish with the balance turning a plum/brown patina. One screw on the side of the frame is boogered up and should be replaced. The rest are fine. About 75% of the cylinder scene still visible. Sharp corners and excellent markings. Action does not rotate properly. May need return spring. As is.

COLT 1861 NAVY NAVY CONVERSION

Converted from percussion to a 38 cal center fire. All matching numbers in the 4,100 serial range. At the bottom of the bbl is the Naval markings " R.W.M." with an anchor. VG traces of case color in protected areas. Fine markings. No signs of pitting. Wood grips show some mars and dings but appear to be okay. Some discoloration to the front of the bbl. Maybe some touch up blue or something. Nice clean all original gun. The Navy Navy is a scarce variation especially in a cartridge conversion.

Cal 31. 4" bbl. All matching numbers including the wedge except for the loading lever. Nice crisp functioning action. Original wood grips show some minor scuffs and mars but still a considerable amount of varnish present. Bbl and receiver have traces of original finish in protected areas. Cylinder scene is mostly visible. Nice looking Colt percussion revolver.

Cal 41. VG shootable bore. Original metal has been cleaned somewhat. Some minor pitting but good markings. Mechanical condition is very nice. Original wood grips. Shows some light use but generally VG with traces of finish remaining. Brass receiver has a nice patina with good markings. Right hand side of the receiver has an interesting proof mark that looks similar to a German Nazi proof. I have never seen that before on this type of a gun. Bbl also has some sort of British proof mark. Not a bad little gun.

COLT THIRD MODEL THUER DERINGER Cal 41. Retains about 75% original nickel, missing mostly from the right hand side. Ivory grips are missing a piece about 1/4" by 1/2" on one side where it meets the frame. Backstrap has the initials " P. TAPIA.". Inscription is quite well done. Sharp metal. Not a bad looking gun.

US MARKED COLT 1902 ALASKAN OR PHILIPPINE DA REVOLVER Cal 45. Original 6" bbl. Very nice bore. Has "RAC" inspectors marks. VG replacement grips. Original lanyard loop at the bottom of the butt. Gun appears to have a very well done we believe arsenal re finish a long time ago and retains most of the finish with only a little wear at the muzzle end. Nice functioning action.

Bbl has a few poor storage blemishes and shows some signs of cleaning but still retains a considerable amount of original blue. Hammer has excellent finish remaining. Wood grips retain most original varnish and are in excellent condition. Nice clean sharp all original gun with serial number 945.

Good mechanical condition. All matching numbers in the 25,XXX serial range. Original wood grips have a few dings and mars but are sound and solid with traces of original varnish remaining. Overall metal has turned mostly plum with traces of blue and case colors in protected areas. Long bbl Navy's are pretty scarce. Professionally shortened.

THIRD MODEL COLT 7-1/2” DRAGOON

THIRD MODEL COLT 7-1/2” DRAGOON Cal 44 with Colt patent markings on the side of the frame. On top of the frame the bbl is kind of light with rounding of the corners of the oct. At one time some one tried inletting a small sight on top. Overall metal is about good condition with some rounding to the corners and some polishing a long time ago. All matching numbers including the wedge. Nice functioning action. Rifling is VG in the bore with the typical gain twist style of rifling. A little crack in the grips which have been revarnished. Still correct to the gun. Good looking and guaranteed all correct.

CASED COLT ROOT REVOLVER Featuring 3-1/2" bbl with New York address. It has the rolled cylinder scene. Referred to as a Model 7. Dlx Rosewood case with working lock. Correct powder flask and bullet mould. It has a very nice Winchester labeled box of percussion caps. Overall gun in very nice condition with about 75-80% bright blue. Excellent grips. Nice case colors on hammer and lever.

2ND MODEL COLT DERINGER

2ND MODEL COLT DERINGER The Colt Deringer was in 41 RF cal with 2-1/2" bbl. This particular gun has a mostly grey coloration with smooth metal. Bbl address and the number 2 on the top of the bbl is very readable. The scroll engraving is quite nice. Some slight pitting on the left hand side. Original rosewood grips are in very nice condition. Deringers are becoming very popular as a collectors item.

COLT NEW LINE 22 REVOLVER

COLT NEW LINE 22 REVOLVER This is a first model new line with a 4 digit serial number. 7-shot 22 cal revolver. Frame is nickel. This one has a very pleasing patina to it. They had a 2-1/4" blued bbl. This one has quite a bit of original blue remaining. Nice markings. Quite a bit of blue on cylinder also. Bird's head rosewood grips in near excellent condition. The action works. This is a very old revolver in remarkable condition.

CASED COLT 1855 ROOT REVOLVER 3-1/2" octagon bbl with Hartford address. Full fluted cylinder. Referred to as a Model 3A. Serial range below 1XXX. In fine condition with about 90% bright blue. Nice case colors on hammer and lever. A couple areas of very fine pitting on the bbl. Other than that it is a real fine gun. Excellent grips. Nicely cased with powder flask, correct key and a can of snap caps.

CASED 1855 COLT SIDE HAMMER REVOLVER

Model No. 6 full round bbl and hold-up cylinder scene. Beautiful pair of ivory grips with the likeness of Samuel Colt on one side. I think they are new manufactured grips because they look great but don't fit perfectly on the bottom. Case is in excellent condition with a tool, correct flask and bullet mould that is about 75% blue. Overall gun in fine condition in the 11,XXX serial range. Retains about 85% bright blue and case colors.

Model No. 2 with 3-1/2" full oct bbl and full round cylinder with a cabin and Indian cylinder scene. Cased with correct powder flask. No loading tool. Case is in fine condition with working lock. Gun is in excellent+ condition with about 90% bright blue overall. Good case colors on hammer and lever. Nice clean little gun.

COLT CHALLENGER SEMI-AUTO PISTOL

The Challenger was made in the early to mid 50's. Most all factory finish remaining. 4-1/2" bbl. This is a variation of the very popular Colt Woodsman. With a very nice black Bucheimer holster.

COLT 1855 ‘ROOT’ POCKET REVOLVER, MODEL 2

.28 Caliber. Generally fine+ overall cond with some bad storage spots on right side of the bbl. This area has been cleaned and is a thin blue gray coloration; approximately 75-80% shiny blue finish remains overall, generous case colors are visible on hammer and rammer, most all cylinder scene is visible. Fancy burled grips retain most all orig lacquer, crisp action.

COLT FIRST MODEL DERRINGER

Item # C1196-20-400

Markings along the bbl flat along with No. 1. On the bottom of the bbl is the serial number 1691; built in the very early 1870s. Cal is 41 rim fire. These guns were all metal including the handle. It has a very nice aged patina on the frame. The bbl is nickel plated and retains almost all of the nickel. It is possibly re nickeled? It even has the original opening latch which you see missing on a lot of these. A couple of pits in the otherwise good + bore. These little Colts were very popular with gamblers and soiled doves. This one is very nice. Solid and tight. A good collectable.

OUTSTANDING COLT NEW LINE REVOLVER IN .30 CALIBER

2-1/4 barrel. This is a blue and case hardened example. Very difficult to find with 80%+ vivid case colors! 90% cylinder blue, 70% thinning barrel blue, excellent grips. Fine pistol.

FACTORY ENGRAVED COLT MODEL 1903 WITH LEATHER CASING .32 CALIBER SEMI-AUTO

85% lustrous blue remains, excellent pearl grips, excellent bore, scroll engraving is crisp and sharp. Only approximately 600 1903's were engraved. The trunk style agents casing is in fine condition with some tattered spots to the red cloth lining. The Buenos Aires agents label on inside cover is excellent. Case includes an empty UMC 25 Cartridge box.

COLT 1860 ARMY

This 1860 has the Colt New York bbl address. The cylinder scene is still quite visible. Entire metal on the gun is a deep antique plum-brown. The action has problems. All matching numbers. Has original grips which are quite beat but look very nice on this gun. A decent old piece of American history.

VERY RARE 5-3/4” BARREL 1877 COLT WITHOUT EJECTOR

Caliber 38. This gun has been cleaned, is mostly a silvery-grey coloration. Very nice set of hard rubber grips on it. Action needs work. Does not function right. Rare old Colt!

3-1/2" bbl without ejector. About 60% of nickel mixing with areas of light pitting & flaking. Caliber 41 Colt. Good solid gun but action not working properly. Hard rubber grips are worn. Very light hairline crack on right grip. Early gun made in 1880.

SCARCE COLT THIRD MODEL DERINGER IN .41 CALIBER

High hammer example. Scarce with rampant Colt and 'C' markings on the frame indicating it was sold through Colt's London Agency; British proof markings are indeed present. Also very unusual is a Lanyard ring which appears to be absolutely original! 97% original nickel finish remains, grips are excellent; considerable case colors present on hammer and trigger.

In 28 Caliber Percussion. Orig 3-1/2 full oct bbl with the full fluted cylinder, Hartford address, in the 27,XXX serial number range. Overall gun is in exc cond with 75-80% bright vivid blue, receiver has flaked and turned mostly a brown coloration, exc case colors on the hammer. Orig walnut grips show some light mars and scuffs but still retain probably 75% orig lacquer. All orig and in near excellent cond.

12 different full size handguns, all nicely carved and painted wood. The largest ones are about 15 inches long. Includes a Colt Walker, Patterson, 1860 Colt, Colt Single Action, Colt Root, Detective Special, 3rd Model Derringer, Colt New Line and several Colt Pocket Models. The Detective has real lead bullets. Some have minor repairs or small parts broken. Very nicely done.

Commonly referred to as 'The Root Model'. This is the 5-shot, fluted cylinder variation. The gun has some excellent frame colors, bluing at 90%+, bright and shiny. Bbl has antiqued out to more of a brownish gray patina coloration, there are still case colors on the hammer, wood grips are in VG cond. Very nice, solid gun with a crisp, clean action. This gun is cute! Hard to find these in any condition, much less as wonderful condition as this one is in.

Cased in an old case stamped 'Anderson & Son, etc.'; green velvet lined with the cleaning rod, mold, bay flask, oil bottle and cap tin intact. Great lookin' outfit!
