POSSIBLE HAWKSLEY FLASKItem # F1092 Top screw cap is present but whole charger assembly is missing. Flask height is 8-1/2". Flask covered in what is probable Turkey Morocco leather with a German Silver Shield on one side. Leather has a few short cracks and bottom seam stitching is loose.

HAWKSLEY FLUTED PATTERN POWDER FLASKItem # F1084 Number 290 in Riling's book. 4 eyelets. Orange brown patina in unprotected areas. Adjustable charger on a screw-off patented top. Good solid flask!
UNMARKED BIRD PATTERN FLASKItem # F1083 Number 723 in Riling's book. 2 eyelets, antique copper patina with a few spots of green oxidation. Adjustable charger on a common top. Unique shaped body on this flask! Appears to have been repaired in a couple of spots on the seam quit some time ago.
UNMARKED DOG AND HUNTER PATTERN FLASKItem # F1082 Number 910 in Riling's book. Darker copper patina. Adjustable charger on a common top. Has a 1 1/2" split in the seam on one edge. A few small spots of green oxidation also.
AMERICAN FLASK & CAP CO. BIRD PATTERN FLASKItem # F1081 Number 747 in Riling's book. 2 eyelets, adjustable charger on a patent top with Inside or "secret" spring. Spring is broken. Antique copper patina with a couple small spots of green oxidation. No real dents, very good shape otherwise.
G. & J. W. HAWKSLEY DEER PATTERN FLASKItem # F1080 Number 999 in Riling's book. Large 7 1/2" (bottom of the body to the bottom of the charger) antique copper patina flask with adjustable charger on a common top. Pattern is only on one face. No eyelets. One small dent above the deer's head.
UNMARKED COLT TYPE PATTERN FLASKItem # F1079 Looks like number 817 in Riling's book. The design is on one face only, and it doesn't have the "COLT PATENT" below the crossed guns. It does say "MADE IN USA" on the back just below the collar. Brown patina, non-adjustable charger, flask is in really good shape. I'm not sure, but this one might be a reproduction of the Colt.
SCARCE UNMARKED PLAIN PATTERN GUN POWDER FLASKItem # F1078 Looks like number 146 in Riling's book. Darker copper patina with a few small dents in body. Non-adjustable charger on a common top. Flask is 3 5/8" from the bottom of the body to the bottom of the charger.
UNMARKED LEATHER COVERED POWDER FLASKItem # F1077 Flask is shaped like number 1073 in Riling's book. Has an oval shaped top with adjustable charger, 2 leather straps and 2 eyelets. Has some scuffs and wear, but otherwise is a unique looking flask.
UNMARKED LEATHER HANDYMAN MADE FLASKItem # F1076 Flask is about 6" tall, made of leather with what appears to be a ceramic top and stopper. 2 copper eyelets.
UNMARKED WOODEN POWDER FLASKItem # F1075 This unique wooden home-made flask is very interesting. The body is about 3" tall with a wooden non-adjustable charger that is about 2 1/2" tall. Even has 1 leather eyelet.
UNMARKED POSSIBLE HANDYMAN MADE FLASKItem # F1074 Flask is just over 4 1/2" tall. Looks something like a canteen. No stopper and is gun metal patina.

UNMARKED POSSIBLE HANDYMAN MADE GUNPOWDER FLASKItem # F1070 This monster is a foot tall and has 2 eyelets and a metal stopper. Looks home-made with a grey patina.
UNMARKED POSSIBLE HANDYMAN MADE FLASKItem # F1069 Looks like a little 3" tall gray canteen. Has a stopper that looks like it was made from an old shell casing. The bad news is a good sized dent on each side of this otherwise cute flask, 1 eyelet.
G. & J. W. HAWKSLEY POWDER FLASKItem # F1068 This appears to have once been covered in leather. No eyelets, but a rather large 4 graduation screw-off charger on a patent top with outside spring. No dents and a shiny brass top.
UNMARKED PLAIN ZINC FLASKItem # F1067 This flask has a brass top that is non-adjustable and has a cork stopper in it. 2 eyelets and is 5 1/2" tall from the bottom of the body to the top of the charger. No dents and a gray zinc patina.
UNMARKED POWDER FLASKItem # F1066 This appears to have once been a leather covered flask. 2 eyelets and an adjustable charger on a common top with a broken spring. No dents though!
UNMARKED PLAIN PATTERN POWDER FLASKItem # F1065 Looks like number 212 in Riling's book. This large (7 1/2" from the bottom of the body to the bottom of the charger) tall flask has a very nice copper patina, 2 eyelets and an adjustable charger on a plain top.
UNMARKED SHAPES PATTERN FLASKItem # F1064 Number 1302 in Riling's book. Nice copper patina. Has had a repair done to back side, and also the "window" glass is missing. Has a screw-off adjustable charger on a common top.
UNMARKED PANEL PATTERN ZINC FLASKItem # F1063 Number 490 in Riling's book. Has 2 eyelets and a non-adjustable charger on a plain top. Nice gray zinc patina and no dents. Just under 5 1/2" from the bottom of the body to the bottom of the charger.
UNMARKED SHELL AND BUSH PATTERN POWDER FLASKItem # F1062 Number 339 in Riling's book. Flask has turned a copper patina, is missing the spring and charger. the 2 eyelets have come out but we still have em! Seam is starting to split as well. This one has been used, and is need of some repair.
UNMARKED SHELL AND BUSH PATTERN GUN POWDER FLASKItem # F1061 Number 315 in Riling's book. Just under 3 1/2" from the bottom of the body to the bottom of the charger, this small pocket flask has a reddish brown patina. Non-adjustable charger on a plain common or "fast" top.
UNMARKED DOG AND HUNTER FLASKItem # F1060 Number 874 in Riling's book. This smaller zinc flask has a non-adjustable charger on a common or "fast" top. Appears to have had some repair to one of the seams and has some holes on one side. Kinda rough shape.
UNMARKED DEER PATTERN ZINC FLASKItem # F1059 Looks like the number 968 pattern in Riling's book. Flask has 2 eyelets and is made of zinc with a brass patent top with inside spring and adjustable charger with 3 graduations. Flask is 5 3/4" tall from the bottom of the body to the bottom of the charger.
UNMARKED BIRD PATTERN POWDER FLASKItem # F1058 This zinc flask is 5" from the bottom of the body to the bottom of the charger. Missing the charger. Otherwise good shape with no dents. A nice gray patina.
UNMARKED PLAIN GUN POWDER FLASKItem # F1057 Number 167 in Riling's book. Has one eyelet on the bottom. It is an unusual flask that is of a strongly flared profile. It has a tapered charger and the screw-off arrangement at the spout opposite the bullet receptacle in the top. The base cover unscrews for flints or percussion caps. This may be considered as the transitional form of an early flintlock pistol flask. Very nice condition!

The inventor claimed it to be "the most durable flask ever made" with the added advantage of translucence so that the contents could be estimated. 2 eyelets with green carrying strap. Screw-off patented top adjustable with inside spring. Adjustable charger with 3 graduations, missing the Adjustment Stop Screw.

J. W. HAWKSLEY POWDER FLASKItem # F1044 Number 540 in Riling's book. Copper patina with a few small dents on one side. Has 2 out of the 4 eyelets. A screw off common top with adjustable charger (3 graduations). Has HAWKSLEY on the charger.
