These guns are seldom found in very good condition-this one is about average. Original gumwood stock is sound and solid with a light coat of varnish added. Overall gun is in generally VG condition with no pits; mostly a plum brown coloration; traces original blue, VG bore. Very interestingly the rear ladder sight is marked in meters and the gun features side mount sling swivels running underneath the side of the forearm band and the side of the stock. Fine old rifle in reasonably good cond with approximately 80% bbl blue; some thinning especially at the carry point; receiver also exhibits about the same amount of blue. Wood is in VG cond with the normal hunting scratches and marks; is solid with no losses or major cracks. This gun has the unique Savage perch belly style stock. All orig except for some sort of protective varnish that was added with some going onto the metal. Octagon bbl'd Savage's are somewhat hard to come by. This would be a decent gun for somebody that enjoys a fine older rifle.

Buttstock has some extra figure and is in good to VG cond, a White Line recoil pad has been added. Nice, slick handling Model 12; somewhat hard to find in a 20 gauge. Decent gun.

Half round, half oct bbl. These were a special low production run of Low Wall's by the U.S. Repeating Arms. This particular gun is a Low Wall High Grade with frame engraving, 24 karat squirrel/cottontail scenes, fancy walnut stock and forearm and cut checkering. These were made in '99 and 2000. Very fine quality in workmanship. The gold plating and engraving are stunning. Gun is in new cond; very nice, scarce Winchester.

(13-300) VERY UNIQUE SMOOTH BORE WINCHESTER HIGH WALL, 2-BARREL SET
Featuring a 26" 20 Gauge shotgun bbl and a 30" .38-55 Smooth Bore bbl. This is the only set that I know of that is comprised of two different shot cartridge bbls. Overall gun is in exc cond with the 38-55 bbl retaining 98% bright shiny orig blue and an exc bore. The 20 Gauge bbl has a few very minor frecklings from bad storage but still retains almost all the blue with an exc bore. Matching wood on the two forearms and buttstock are in exc cond with a very few light handling mars; complete with correct shotgun style buttplate. Receiver finish is probably about 75% with some flaking and toning on one side but still crisp and sharp with no signs of pits. Guaranteed all orig. 113,XXX serial number range-too high to get a Factory Letter but on close examination by taking it apart, the inside work numbers match on both bbls. ~~> VIEW PHOTO <~~ e

Appears that the bbls have been reduced to 26", very little choke-just the last inch has choke in the bbls, bores are exc. Orig wood is in VG cond measuring 13-3/4" pull to the end of a red Joslyn recoil pad. Beavertail forearm, good, clean, sharp checkering, nicely figured stock. Receiver is in exc cond-very sharp and clean with 30-40% case colors, complete with the gold inlaid crown on the lever, bbls are generally VG as well with 90% dulling blue on them.
